“Remember the 2 A’s: Ask and Advertise”
Lodge business is back to normal after the summer break. Over the summer I have been, and will continue all year to forward the 000-999 membership lists to the Zone Directors. They in turn are forwarding them to the Lodge’s Vice Presidents and Membership Chairs. These are easy new members for your lodge since they are already a Sons of Norway member — they just don’t have a local lodge. Please let me know how transferring them to your lodge is going.
Do you celebrate a Leif Erikson event in your Lodge? Have your members bring someone to learn about the “Norwegian that discovered America”? Share your culture — they may be your lodge’s next new member!
And, remember the 2 A’s — Ask and Advertise. Kudos to BONDELANDET LODGE in Lancaster PA. They were on the International Sons of Norway Events Calendar!!
I know many lodges have upcoming anniversaries and bazaars — why not post them there — IT’S FREE ADVERTISING.
