About Us - Fraternal Funds
THIRD DISTRICT FRATERNAL and DRAXTEN FUNDS
The Third District annually receives Fraternal Funds from the International Lodge and Draxten Funds from the SON Foundation.
The 2006-2008 Charter and Constitution (Chapter 5, paragraph 94(a)) provides that each District will receive funds from the International Lodge District Fraternal Program to support cultural, youth and sports related programs, and leadership seminars.
Each District Board will report biennially to its respective District Lodge Meeting and to the International Lodge on how the funds are used.
USE OF THE FUNDS
All District lodges are eligible to apply for financial assistance relating to the expenses of specific lodge activities. In order to be considered for financial assistance, the lodge must complete the Fraternal Funds Request form and submit it to the District Secretary.
Each request will be considered on its own merit; however, it will be a priority to provide awards to as many lodges as possible.
